My journey started in 2020, five months postpartum with my fourth child. After years of back-to-back pregnancies, I knew it was finally time to prioritize my health and become the strongest, healthiest version of myself.
Shortly after giving birth, I developed a serious infection that left me in and out of the hospital for weeks. It took a huge toll on my body and became the turning point that pushed me to make lasting changes - not just physically, but mentally too.
At 36, I committed to rebuilding my health from the inside out.
Over the next few years, I focused on improving my nutrition, healing my relationship with food, and identifying the habits that had held me back in the past. I lost weight at a steady pace, kept it off, and created a lifestyle that finally felt sustainable.
At first, my workouts were mostly cardio. While I enjoyed it, I still felt like something was missing. That missing piece turned out to be strength training.
My husband suggested I start weight lifting, and my first reaction - like many women - was, “I don’t want to get too bulky.” Looking back now, I laugh at that mindset.
Body recomposition has been one of the most rewarding journeys of my life. Nothing feels better than getting stronger, seeing my confidence grow, and noticing my feminine shape really shine through.
Now, I’m excited to open a small group of founding Beauty Builders - women who are ready to stop starting over, build lasting habits, and become the strongest, healthiest version of themselves.
